Requirements & Qualifications for Contestants:

  • Contestants must be bachelor or graduate students
  • Contestants must develop and present their business projects in English
  • Contestants must be part of a group comprising 2 and 4

Screening Round:

  • Contestants submit preliminary business projects through online platform provided. https://forms.gle/fKZMzHMnBH72HSgf8 
  • Contestants send a 5-minute VIDEO clip, covering the project pain points, proposing business solutions within the innovation domain, and discussing the technology behind business and financial models.
  • The submitted projects will be reviewed by the competition committee, and 10 projects (groups) will be selected to compete in the final round.

Final Round and Award Ceremony: March 28-29, 2024

  • The 10 finalists will participate in a 2-day hackathon competition at Bangkok University, during March 28-29, 2024.
  • Contestants will develop completed innovative business projects, benefit from mentoring by Berkeley SkyDeck Venture Capital Investors, among others, during our 2-day workshop, and actively participate in pitching their innovative business ventures.
  • Contestants must present in PPT/Canva format, showing pain points, and innovative business solutions, with business & financial models.
  • First, second, third, and 4 honorable mention awards are to be announced after the competition.

  • International Teams: USD 100 covers 3-night accommodation, airport pick-up, drop-off, and local transfers between the accommodation and event venue, including breakfast and lunch.

How is the Final Round presentation structured?

Final Round presentations include a 7-minute presentation followed by a Q&A session. The presentation responds to feedback received during the competition day.

What are the attire and recording environment requirements for submissions?

Teams are required to dress in business casual attire for both recorded and live presentations. Additionally, teams should ensure an appropriate background when participating in Zoom or recorded sessions.
